The Albert Kennedy Trust is looking to recruit a part-time LGBT Jigsaw Worker to become part of the Jigsaw Project, linking young homeless LGBT people to necessary services. Based in London and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with young LGBT people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment.

As Albert Kennedy Trust Caseworker you will provide assessment, advice, advocacy, complex housing casework, supported lodgings, mentoring and training for young LGBT people who are homeless, insecurely housed or living in a hostile environment. You will need experience of working in frontline services, preferably with young LGBT people. Good problem-solving and liaison skills are needed to help find multi-agency solutions to complex issues. You'll also need a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and knowledge of the issues that young LGBT people face.

Scholarships for IGLTA Convention in Chicago

IGLTA Foundation is offering five scholarships to attend the 30th Annual Global Convention for the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association, in Chicago, 2-4 May 2013. Meet like-minded people working in the field of LGBT travel and tourism, network with businesses, and make new friends!

This year's program will provide all-expense paid trips to Chicago for three hospitality/tourism students, one individual representing a small business, and one individual representing a destination or event. Scholarships include the cost of visas, flights, hotel, per diem, and conference attendance.
